Training Venue

Our club is based from Dawlish Leisure Centre which is on the outskirts of Dawlish in Devon. Managed by Teignbridge Leisure we use the centres 25 metre swimming pool, splitting the pool into segments according to ability during each session. There is single-sex communal changing which are public facilities used by other Leisure Centre users. We do not provide adult supervision of changing. Places in the Training Sessions should be booked in advanced direct with the centre, click here to visit their website.

Training Sessions

Children are welcome to our Saturday session from the age of 8 once they are at Stage 5 in swimming and are able to swim 50 metres in a tidy manner. This is a mixed sport with both genders competing as equals. We structure the sessions to include players from absolute beginner level, up to international level. Many of our players have represented Great Britain at age group level and several coaches are similarly qualified as players and officials. Juniors are invited to progress to the next level once the coaching team deem they are suitably trained and robust for that session. Players are invited to join additional club sessions in the week once they are suitably prepared, and after discussion with the player and their family.
